David Schnitzer, CCIM

David has spent the last twenty years in commercial brokerage specializing in retail real estate for big boxes, restaurants, land transactions and income property investment sales.

His expertise in tenant and owner representation brings a unique perspective to each transaction. David believes in becoming involved in his client’s business and thinking like a customer. For his clients, he coordinates a multi-market program of strategic planning, trade area analysis, site selection and acquisition of sale and lease assignments.

David specializes in market expansion for a variety of clients in Texas, Oklahoma, and across the country.

Chris Burks

Chris has worked in commercial real estate since 2002, specializing in the restaurant industry. Before joining Ascend, Chris spent time at Venture Commercial and before that, at the John T. Evans Company in Dallas, doing work throughout Texas for various restaurant groups.

Chris has established a niche working with franchisees for various brands, including some national brands, on their expansion. Soon after getting into the business, Chris began working with various franchisees for Denny’s and grew that relationship into a role covering most of Texas. Also, having done work with national brands like Burger King, Taco Cabana, Popeye’s, and Raising Canes.

In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing golf, and cruising around the Chesapeake Bay.
